**** Senior Java Software Engineer AWS + Connect
** Apex is seeking a skilled Software Engineering to join our Client's Corporate IT team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive technology expertise to develop innovative solutions in the healthcare industry. As a key member of our Contact Center team, you will contribute to the creation and implementation of enterprise solutions and standards for our AWS cloud IaaS platform, including Amazon Connect integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead technical design, planning, and management of back-end services and UI development
2. Document and present architectural decisions to team members, peers, and management
3. Provide architectural guidance to the development team
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create agile, intuitive, and user-friendly software
5. Deliver prototypes, reusable microservice components, and advanced solutions
6. Desing, implement and maintain Amazon Connect related features and functionality
7. Develop complex RESTful services in an Agile development environment
8. Perform code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices
9. Design and implement functional/system integration tests and automation
10. Foster a Dev Ops culture around automation of builds, testing, deployments, and scaling
11. Contribute to SOA standards and conduct impact analysis
12. Mentor and train developers, helping to solve technical challenges
13. Drive innovation and creative thinking in solution development

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* 10+ years of experience as an Architect, Technical Lead, or Software Engineer
* Expert knowledge of Java (7+) enterprise development and integration middleware
* 3+ years of hands-on application architecture experience for large enterprise solutions
* 7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Core, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security
* Experience with Amazon Connect, including contact flows, queues, routing, Lex Chatbots, CCP, client streams.
* Extensive web application development experience for high-scale applications
* Advanced skills in implementing Service APIs (SOAP, REST) with market-leading API Management tools
* Extensive experience delivering microservice-based architecture using APIs, containers, and automation
* Advanced knowledge of RDBMS SQL (e.g., DB2, Oracle) and Java integration using Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate
* Experience with No

SQL implementations (e.g. AWS DynamoDB)
* Experience with cloud-based technologies (preferably AWS or Kubernetes with Open Shift)
* Expert knowledge of data integration solutions in multi-user, multi-platform, multi-tier environments
* Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools
* Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills
* Proficiency in Agile/SCRUM methodology Preferred

Skills:

* Experience with Python and NodeJS
* Understanding of Cyara designer
* Knowledge of front-end technologies:
Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and Java Script
* Hands-on experience with AWS technologies (Lambda, SQS, EC2, ECS, Terraform)
Pay Rate: $60-70/hr
