CDL Rear Load Truck Driver

Join our team of Residential Rear Load Drivers responsible for the collection and hauling of waste or recycling materials to disposal sites or recycling plants, operating various trucks on multiple routes.

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers safely and compliantly, emptying containers into the truck and hauling to the disposal site.
• Enter and exit the truck approximately 300–500 times per day, depending on the route.
• Pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings as required.
• Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
• Clean up waste spills and overflows.
• Maintain and update route and driver log sheets.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and complete logs.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body and ensure cleanliness of the truck cab.
• Deliver trash or recycling containers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• This position does not manage employees.

• Strong reading and map navigation skills.
• Ability to enter and exit the truck 300–500 times per day.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At least a valid Class B CDL.
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• At least 19 years of age.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• No DUI or OVI within the last 5 years or two within the last 10 years.
• Ability to travel between offices as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and expected to work nights, weekends, overtime, and/or holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license if applicable.
• Must successfully complete pre‑employment testing.
• Must be able to read and speak English.

• Continuously pushing or pulling up to 75 lbs.
• Frequently lifting or carrying up to 75 lbs.
• Rarely lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 100 lbs.
• Continuously working outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions.
• Continuously working in areas with dust, odors, mist, gases, or other airborne matter.
• Frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Frequently climbing and/or balancing.
• Frequently sitting, standing, or walking.

• Possible exposure to high‑traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas.
• Exposure to residential and commercial waste.
