What You’ll DoAs a CDL Class A Driver/Installer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering and installing furniture for our residential, commercial, event, and trade show clients. We’re looking for a dependable, motivated CDL Class A Driver/Furniture Mover to join our crew. If you enjoy being on the move, working with your hands, and making customers smile, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities include:

Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.

Pick up and deliver merchandise according to scheduled routes, including NC, VA, MD, GA, and TN.Verify deliveries match invoices and shipping documents.

Maintain vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly.

Communicate customer feedback and maintain a clean work environment.

Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.

Complete paperwork accurately and timely.

Overnight travel required up to three days per week (hotel and per diem provided).What We’re Looking For Driving experience (required)
Valid Class A CDL & clean driving record

Ability to pass DOT physical & pre-employment drug test. Comply with all DOT Regulations Furniture handling experience preferred.

Strong customer service skills with a professional, courteous attitude; bilingual preferred.

Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb stairs, bend, and stay active for extended periods

Basic tool knowledge (cordless drill, screwdriver, etc.)Must comply with FMCSA regulations, pass drug screening, background check, and work occasional weekends.

High School Diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

Organization and time management skills.

Verbal and written communication skills.

Customer service and problem solving oriented.

Available to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, and weekends.

Ability to use basic tools such as screwdriver, cordless drills, hammers, or any other assembly tool.

Basic math knowledge, organization and reading skills.

EDUCATION:

Degree:
High School or Equivalent

Languages:

English and Spanish languages preferable; verbal and written.

EXPERIENCE:

At least six months of experience in a similar industry, warehousing and inventory knowledge from a delivery company or similar industry.

Required to be able to operate a 26’ box truck.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

Valid Driver’s license – must meet the insurance underwriting requirements (no points of violations in the past twelve months).Able to pass DOT Physical test, which includes but is not limited to pre-employment Drug Testing.

Background check is required.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL

QUALIFICATIONS:

This job will require lifting 75 pounds, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and being physically active for extended periods of time.

The Driver/Installer will adhere and comply with DOT regulations.
