Job Overview
As a CDL‑B Truck Driver in Associated Scaffolding, you will deliver construction access equipment to commercial, residential, and industrial construction sites, and when not making deliveries you’ll work in the warehouse. This position offers predictable routing and home time in the same region with a dispatch team that prioritizes safety and work‑life balance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Deliver and pick up construction access equipment and accessories at construction job sites professionally and safely. Count all material and documents on the applicable forms clearly and legibly, including shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Complete pre‑trip inspections and documents according to ASC guidelines and procedures. Load and unload material from the truck without assistance or the use of a forklift.
- Coordinate delivery and/or pick‑up with the on‑site contact/representative. Obtain all necessary signatures and give safety instructions to the signer.
- When not driving, work in the warehouse inspecting and reconditioning access equipment, loading and unloading trucks, cleaning trucks, etc.
- Undertake other duties or special tasks as assigned by the manager.
- At least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current CDL‑B license with a good driving record (no more than 2 incidents in 3 years, no DWI/DUI or reckless charges in 5 years).
- At least one year of commercial delivery driving experience.
- Valid DOT medical card.
- Disposition for working as a member of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to consistently lift 70 lbs. without assistance.
- Experience in customer service.
- All candidates must submit to drug testing, a criminal background check, and an E‑Verification of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Periods spent counting, stacking, loading, and unloading construction access equipment and accessories; long periods outdoors in hot or cold elements.
