CDL-A Truck Drivers $1600-$2000+/WK Rider & Pet Welcome Home Weekly (Full Time)
Class A drivers are looking for the guarantee of a salary, extra pay per shipment, and great benefits while getting home weekly.
Job Pay and Summary- Drivers will pick up loads at DC just outside of Front Royal. Trailers will be preloaded, and drivers will hook and go.
- Drivers are paid a daily salary of $215 per day and then paid $300 for every trailer that is unloaded. Drivers average $1600-$2000+/wk.
- Drivers will make between 2–4 stops per trailer. Deliveries are made by the driver, who puts boxes that weigh between 1–35 lbs on a conveyor belt that goes into the store. Store personnel will take it from there as drivers do not do inventory or merchandising; they only unload the truck.
- When the driver takes their 34‑hour reset at home many times they will still be on a load. When their week starts, they will finish the deliveries then head back to DC for the next load.
- Orientation will take place in Dayton, usually about 2 days. The company pays for transportation, hotel, and meals and pays $85/day for orientation.
- After training for 3–5 days (paid at $210/day) the driver can have their pet and rider with them from the first day after training.
- Full benefits start after 60 days and will include:
- Medical
- Vision
- PTO
- 401(K) with matching
- Drivers must be 21 years old and have one full year of Class A experience. Experience may be local, regional, or OTR.
- CDL must be in the state of the driver’s current residence when applying.
- May not have more than 3 jobs in the last year and no more than 6 jobs in the last three years.
- May have two DOT recordable accidents in the last three years, except for those with exclusions:
- None with a major traffic violation
- Preventable rear‑end
- No rollovers
- Cannot have been terminated from the most recent job for any reason. The company follows the employer’s verification.
- May have one of the following moving violations in the personal vehicle in the last three years, but none in a commercial vehicle:
- 15+
- Reckless
- Following too closely
- Texting or using handheld device
- This is only for the personal vehicle; if have any of these in commercial vehicle you are not qualified.
