Job Title:Parts Driver – Car Dealership
Location: Durham, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Parts Manager
We are seeking a reliable Parts Driver to join our dealership’s parts department. The Parts Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery and pickup of automotive parts and supplies to and from customers, vendors, and other dealership locations. When not on deliveries, the Parts Driver may assist with general parts department tasks.
Key Responsibilities:Safely operate a dealership vehicle to deliver and pick up auto parts and accessories.
Verify orders for accuracy before loading and unloading deliveries.
Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and dealership staff.
Inspect vehicle daily for cleanliness and proper operation; report issues as needed.
Assist in the parts department with stocking shelves, pulling orders, and maintaining inventory when not driving.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Primarily driving with some warehouse/stockroom duties.
Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
