Receiving & Inspecting Shipments

  • Unload, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries.
  • Check for damages or discrepancies and report accordingly.
  • Match received goods with purchase orders.
Inventory Management
  • Accurately label and store items in designated locations.
  • Maintain organized and up‑to‑date inventory records.
  • Assist with periodic cycle counts and full inventory audits.
Shipping & Packing
  • Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and packaging.
  • Ensure accuracy of outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics and complete shipping documentation.
Warehouse Organization
  • Keep storage areas and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Re‑stock shelves, tidy workstations, and maintain clear aisles.
  • Assist with reorganizing and optimizing storage layout as needed.
Equipment Operation
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
  • Perform basic maintenance and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Scan and file shipping labels, packing slips, and receipts as needed.
  • Update tracking spreadsheets or inventory systems regularly.
  • Communicate any inventory or logistical issues to the Facilities Manager or Procurement.
Support Facilities Operations
  • Assist with general facilities tasks as needed {e.g., moving supplies, setting up rooms, light maintenance.
  • Help maintain supply levels for warehouse and common areas.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Wear appropriate PPE and report any safety hazards immediately.
