Manager, Warehouse & Materials
In this role you will be responsible for leading warehouse and material operations at the RTP site, ensuring compliant, efficient, and quality-focused supply chain execution. This includes overseeing receiving, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and logistics to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, sampling, storage, inventory control, kitting, and distribution.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and ownership of warehouse management systems and data integrity.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping, including hazardous materials where applicable.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop the warehouse and logistics team while driving operational excellence.
- Support investigations, CAPAs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage logistics activities including 3PL partnerships, import/export compliance, and finished goods movement.
- Ensure warehouse safety standards are maintained and support incident investigations and safety audits.
- Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse and distribution team.
- Provide direction on safety, quality, and operational performance.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field, preferred.
- 8+ years of warehouse or materials management experience in a GMP or pharmaceutical environment.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience managing warehouse or logistics teams.
- Knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP).
- Certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD preferred.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, 3PL partnerships, and deviation management systems.
