Warehouse Associate III - Trainer 2nd Shift
The role of the Warehouse Associate III is responsible for the training of new and current employees in the Warehouse, along with assisting in all roles in the Distribution Center.
Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety and security of all employees.
Operate warehouse equipment, dock safety, and order convenience equipment safely and efficiently to ensure little to no accidents.
Perform initial on-the-job training with new employees and cross‑training for current employees in other work areas as directed by cross‑training plan.
Conduct post‑incident recertification in coordination with local Environmental Health and Safety team.
Ensure all new and current employees are certified or recertified, if necessary, based on federal, state, and company standards.
Recommend improvements to standard work, visual aids, and facility layout to improve safety, customer quality, and productivity.
Train new associates on proper use of PPE and area tools to ensure tools are operated effectively and safely.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
What will help you thrive in this role?Deep knowledge of all primary roles in a distribution environment (Pick, Pack, Put away, and Replenishment)
Four (4) years’ experience in a high-volume warehouse environment required.
Two (2) years’ experience in an inventory control position.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent math and analytical skills, including decimals.
Ability to perform job tasks with high degree of accuracy and minimal error.
Ability to perform work for a maximum of nine hours per day.
Willingness to embrace the Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.
Knowledge of appropriate handling, safety and warehouse standards.
Ability to handle regular job problems within a defined area of responsibility using basic problem‑solving skills.
