We are seeking a highly skilled Joiner to carry out a variety of reactive and responsive works within social housing and public sector environments. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating in and around occupied and refurbished properties, undertaking assigned tasks with precision and in full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

The base location will be Bowburn; however, you will be based on projects throughout the North East/Yorkshire.

• Undertake reactive / responsive works to Social Housing / Public Sector Clients
• Work in and around existing occupied / refurbished properties
• Undertake various works as directed by the site management team including installation of kitchens, pipe boxings, skirting and window cill boards along with 1st and 2nd fix joinery works
• Ensure exceptional levels of customer care
• Undertake works to a high standard on a right first time basis where possible
• Work independently as well as part of a team
• Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time
• Bring additional trade skills or be willing to up skill where appropriate
• Be committed to achieving a high standard of Health and Safety in all its activities and ensuring compliance with all appropriate legislation and site policies and procedures
• Participate in any identified training or development opportunities
• Recognise the importance of fairness and equality in the workplace, treating everyone with dignity and respect

• Time served or the ability to demonstrate at least 2 years’ experience
• NVQ Level 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent essential
• Multi‑skilled – preferable
