We’re looking for aspiring and ambitious individuals who are ready to join our highly competitive craftsperson apprenticeship programme and earn while you learn.

Apprenticeship roles
  • Overhead Line person – construct and maintain overhead electricity lines
  • Underground Cable Jointer – repair, install and connect underground electricity cables
  • Electrical Fitter - install and maintain electrical plant and equipment.

Selection and dates

As part of the selection process, you will need to complete an online application form and participate in a practical assessment day.

Closing date for applications: 29 March 2026

We run a comprehensive candidate assessment process that includes attendance at an assessment centre followed by a face to face interview. The dates for these will be:

  • Assessment centre dates:
    Various dates between April, May and June
  • Interviews:
    Various dates between June and July
  • Start dates: 24th August 2026 or 7th September 2026
