Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary: £39,991
40-hour working week
Overtime paid at £20 per hour

The Role

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
Attend customer sites across the region to perform breakdown repairs and planned maintenance
Complete inspections and ensure equipment remains compliant and operational
Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times

Requirements

Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or similar
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on mobile equipment
Ability to work independently in a field-based role
Customer-focused approach with good communication skills
Full UK driving licence
