Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic LGV Technician to join our team in Crime Rigg, Durham.

You’ll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing large goods vehicles (LGVs) to ensure they are safe, roadworthy, and compliant with transport regulations. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing routine servicing, and carrying out complex mechanical and electrical repairs on trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles.

• Perform routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of LGVs in line with DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) standards
• Performing necessary repairs and maintenance on engine components, transmission, brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, and electrical systems
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, wheel torques, and brake inspections to prevent breakdowns
