Electrical Engineer

Security Engineer (Door Entry & Access Control) 3-4 Month Contract | 39 Hours Per Week | Basic DBS Required Are you an experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in door entry, access control, and fault-finding? We are seeking a skilled engineer to support a busy property services team on a 3-4 month contract, maintaining and upgrading security systems across residential properties and communal areas.

The Role You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading a range of door entry and access control systems, ensuring reliable operation and excellent service delivery to residents and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Fault finding, repairs, servicing, and maintenance of communal door entry and access control systems. Reactive attendance to system faults and breakdowns. Commissioning and configuration of access control systems following upgrades and installations. Completing preventative maintenance activities and supporting system improvements. Maintaining accurate service records and documentation. Managing van stock levels and ordering materials where required. Working safely and in line with health and safety procedures.

Providing a high level of customer service while working within occupied residential environments. What We're Looking For Proven experience with door entry and access control systems. Knowledge of manufacturers such as ISM, Stanley PAC and Entrotec. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability. Experience servicing automated doors, gates, and communal access systems. Excellent organisational and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Full UK Driving Licence. NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electronics (or relevant discipline). Basic DBS Check required.

Desirable Experience CCTV systems. Communal TV systems. Housing association or social housing environments. Easinet database systems. Contract Details Contract Length: 3-4 Months
