English Teaching Assistant (Native English Speaker)
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic native English speaker educated in an English-speaking country to join our secondary boarding school as an English Teaching Assistant for the 2026/2027 academic year (Start date: asap).
Preferred candidates are native English speakers educated in an English-speaking country, particularly Republic of Ireland, Malta, or the United Kingdom. Applicants from non-EU countries must already hold a valid German work permit.
Job Description
As an English Teaching Assistant, you will support our English Department by:
- Teaching conversational English to German-speaking students in Grades 5–10
- Assisting English teachers during classroom lessons
- Providing individual and small-group English tutoring
- Supporting extracurricular and boarding school activities conducted in English
- Encouraging students to develop confidence and fluency in spoken English
Position Requirements
College,
1+ Years
work experience Requirements
- Native speaker of English
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting
- Driver's licence desirable
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and interested in working with young people
