General Service Technician
Location:

Compensation: $19.00 - $19.24 per hour

- Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
- Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
- Maintain a clean and presentable service center
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
- Check and communicate oil level with teammates; ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary; complete vehicle inspections
- Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters; clean and lubricate fittings as needed
- Document all work performed on the repair order
- Report safety issues immediately to management
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
- Perform various manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting
- Perform other duties as assigned
- At least 3 months of customer-facing experience (retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
- Minimum age of 18 and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Prior automotive experience preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team player mindset
- Attention to detail, responsible, and able to follow procedures, identify problems, and make sound decisions
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods on hard surfaces, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing manual tasks including bending and squatting
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
