The City of Duvall, Washington, is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Official to lead our building services and ensure the safety and quality of development in our growing community.

As the Building Official, you will:

• Oversee building inspections and permitting processes; supervise the Building and Permitting team.
• Ensure compliance with state and local building codes.

• Extensive knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• ICC Certified Building Inspector/Plans Examiner;
  Certified Building Official highly preferred.

• Associate’s degree or two-year Technical Certificate in Building/Construction Technology, Planning, or related field, and three years of building code enforcement experience.
• A valid Washington Driver’s License.
• ICC Certifications of Plans Examiner (Residential and/or Building) and Residential Building Inspector.
• Highly Preferred: ICC Certifications of Certified Building Official;
  Commercial Plumbing, Gas Piping, and Accessibility Inspector.
