Job DescriptionDuxbury Public Schools is seeking exceptional candidates to apply for the position of Office Assistant for the Alden School.
The Office Assistant works independently in the performance of all functions necessary to maintain efficient and organized operations of the Main Office of Alden School in a professional and confidential manner.
Responsibilities- Hours:
7:30 AM - 3:00 PM - Daily door monitoring
- Organize daily school attendance records including absences, tardies, early dismissals, and school visitors
- Organize dismissal lists and manage communication between school and home regarding daily dismissal routines, changes, and record keeping
- Support general organization and upkeep of the main office including student files, staff mailboxes, parent notes, phone calls, and supplies
- Perform all other duties as deemed necessary and assigned by the Principal
- Placement on the pay scale is dependent on relevant experience and specific training applicable to the position
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar successful employment
- Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Forms, Sheets, Sites)
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
