Grade 8 Science Teacher

Duxbury Middle School Science Teacher

Duxbury Middle School is seeking a highly qualified certified Science teacher for the  school year.

• Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in General Science (5-8) or (8_12) with SEI Endorsement
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university
• Particular comfort teaching MA State Science Frameworks at Grade 8, with preference for experience teaching SEPUP curriculum
• Classroom management skills that support students' social-emotional learning
• Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
• Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
