High School Latin Teacher

Duxbury High School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of High School Latin Teacher for the  school year.

Requirements:

• Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsement, Latin and Classical Humanities
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university
• Classroom management skills that support students' social-emotional learning
• Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
• Experience collaborating with subject matter teachers, special education teachers, administrators and specialists to support students in all areas of their school experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with families to support student access to learning
• Demonstrated ability to partner with student in course selection, college, post-secondary process
• Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Salary based on the current Duxbury Teachers' Contract.
