We're hiring a Machine Builder to assemble custom industrial equipment in a clean, shop environment. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who likes building from blueprints and working with a small team.

• Read and interpret blueprints to build custom machines
• Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
• Install conveyors, gearboxes, and motors
• Perform basic electrical wiring on equipment
• Fabricate and modify steel as needed
• Work with hydraulics and pneumatics during assembly
• Build machines from start to finish in a job shop environment

• Experience with mechanical assembly or machine building
• Ability to read blueprints
• Comfortable using hand tools (must have your own)
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Valid driver's license

• $25–$30/hr based on experience
• 1st shift, steady schedule
• Brand new, clean facility
• Stable workload with consistent projects
• Travel opportunities (30–40% once trained) — all expenses + per diem covered

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
• Shop environment – clean, well-lit, temperature controlled
• PPE required (steel toes, long sleeves, etc.)
• Job shop setting – independent work or small team builds

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dyer, IN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
