Assembler
This role focuses on assembling small parts into engine manifolds and related components using detailed instructions, hand tools, and power tools. You will perform bench assembly, use torque and pneumatic tools, complete minor paint touch‑ups, and ensure parts meet quality and accuracy standards before packaging and shipment.
Responsibilities- Assemble small parts onto engine manifolds and related components following detailed, step‑by‑step instructions.
- Add washers, bolts, and other hardware to manifolds and coolers according to specifications.
- Utilize torque tools to tighten fasteners to specific measurements and document any variances as required.
- Perform bench assembly work, ensuring each unit meets quality and dimensional standards.
- Add oil to parts or assemblies when required as part of the production process.
- Complete minor paint touch‑ups on parts or assemblies as needed to meet appearance and quality standards.
- Conduct final inspection of parts and completed assemblies to verify accuracy, quality, and completeness.
- Ensure orders and inventory are accurate by verifying part counts and identifying discrepancies.
- Assist in loading completed assemblies into crates or packaging for shipment in a safe and organized manner.
- Use pneumatic tools, including grinders, air ratchets, impact guns, and rivet guns, to complete assembly tasks.
- Steam clean parts to remove dirt, chips, and contaminants prior to further processing or packaging.
- Dip parts into rust remover solutions to ensure they are free from corrosion before final assembly or packaging.
- Oil and protect parts prior to packaging to prevent rust and damage during storage or transit.
- Band work pieces securely and prepare them for shipping according to company standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members within assigned departments to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Proven assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly, measurement, and inspection of parts.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively for mechanical assembly tasks.
- Experience using hand and power tools, including pneumatic tools such as grinders, air ratchets, impact guns, and rivet guns.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to understand part layouts and assembly requirements.
- Proficiency using a tape measure to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications.
- Comfort working with mechanical assemblies and following step‑by‑step instructions.
- Ability to perform final inspection of parts and assemblies to verify quality and completeness.
- Capability to work on a set shift and adapt to occasional flexed start times as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience with bench assembly work and minor paint touch‑up.
- Familiarity with rust removal processes, such as dipping parts into rust remover solutions.
- Experience with steam cleaning equipment for cleaning parts prior to assembly or packaging.
- Ability to band and prepare work pieces for shipping according to standard procedures.
- Comfort working around CNC machinery, weld booths, and racking systems.
- Willingness to learn new processes and cross‑train in different departments as the facility expands.

WorkEnvironment
You will work on a first shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional flexed start times as early as 5:00 a.m. The facility currently employs around 120 people and is expanding to three total shifts.
