RFW Construction Group is a Design‑Build construction company specializing in the Food and Industrial Industry with projects throughout the United States. We are looking for a CAD/BIM Technician with proven experience and an analytical mindset.
As a CAD/BIM Technician you will develop and manage design models, create preliminary drawings and final construction plans, and coordinate design details with the RFW Design Manager for civil, architectural, and structural disciplines.
Key Responsibilities / Requirements- College degree or vocational school degree/certification in an architectural/engineering related field or drafting/BIM program.
- Minimum of 3 years of drafting/BIM modeling working with architects/engineers at a professional firm.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with Auto Desk Civil 3D.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience or willingness to learn rendering software as required.
- Working knowledge of general construction practices.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Willingness to work extra hours as required to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project construction sites or owner project meetings as required.
- Willingness to review construction submittals for compliance to construction documents and plans.
- Ability to be flexible with changing demands.
- Detail oriented and desire to take pride in their work.
