Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Role:
Mechanical Engineer – Custom Engineered Product Development (Liquid Cooling and Air-Cooled product families) for hyperscale data center customers. Focus on developing optimized solutions using industry standards and best practices from cradle to grave.

• Work with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to develop product requirements based on customer needs.
• Analyze systems using engineering tools such as FEA, analytical formulas, and benchmark designs.
• Perform sizing and optimization for pumps, valves, and flow control devices.
• Design piping layouts, select materials (PVC, stainless steel, copper, HDPE, etc.).
• Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFMA tools to improve design quality and reliability.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure complete, accurate documentation for commercialization.
• Collaborate with operations to integrate designs into existing manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop advanced designs with operations to produce high‑quality, value‑based solutions.
• Work with Sales and Service to improve current designs and incorporate future needs into the platform.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for junior mechanical engineers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience, HVAC preferred.
• Experience with CFD/computational fluid dynamics is preferred.
• Strong self‑starter with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid Works, Draft Sight, AutoCAD, and Revit proficiency.
• Preferred:
  Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification; MSME designation is a plus.
