United States Navy Aviation Electronics, Electrical & Computer Systems Technicians (AE/AT) maintain aircraft mission readiness by servicing electrical power, avionics, and computer systems, enabling radar, navigation, and flight controls. Qualified Sailors may volunteer as Naval Aircrew and support flight operations.
Training begins with Recruit Training and Class A School, followed by ratings placement, and opportunities to advance to specialized platforms and airborne duties.
