We are seeking a Senior Accountant for one of our longstanding construction serviced client based in the South metro. This person will work alongside the Controller supporting the day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis for one of the businesses largest entities. Public accounting or audit foundation HIGHLY sought after as the company is likely looking to go public in the next year or two.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review asset, liability, revenue and expense journal entries
  • Monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations
  • Lead preparation of monthly internal and external reporting packages
  • Apply GAAP accounting guidance
  • Lead month‑end, quarter end and year‑end close process
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Assist with audit preparation, including schedules and supporting documentation
  • Contribute to process improvements related to accounting, reporting, compliance and internal controls
  • Provide support on special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Preferred
  • Experience in a multi‑entity environment
  • CPA or progress toward CPA

Compensation: $90,000-$115,000

Employment Type: Full Time Direct Hire, Hybrid
