The Impact You Will Have

Join Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Care Model Identification & Stratification (IDS) Product Team and play a key role in shaping how members are connected to the right care at the right time. We are seeking a curious, analytical professional with approximately three years of relevant experience and a strong data mindset. The ideal candidate can move beyond pulling data to uncover meaningful insights, connect findings to population health strategies, and recommend actionable opportunities to improve member outcomes.

Success in this role requires critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of identification and stratification methodologies, including how data informs care management triggers and member engagement strategies. You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Data & Analytics partners to organize requests, perform preliminary analyses, validate results, and identify the populations most likely to benefit from new programs and vendor solutions.

  • Partner with Operations, Product, and Data & Analytics teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve data-related challenges, and support the successful delivery of care management initiatives.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and member identification activities, applying inclusion/exclusion criteria, stratification rules, and business logic to support program development, outreach, and decision-making.
  • Develop and validate member identification methodologies and clinical indicators, enabling Care Model and Behavioral Health teams to target appropriate populations while supporting efficient project execution and reducing barriers to delivery.
