We are a close-knit, family-focused household with a happy and engaged 3-year-old who is usually up for anything, and a 6-month-old. Our 3-year-old is naturally helpful, and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch her grow into that role of big sister! Getting out and enjoying sunshine and fresh air is important to us, whether that's through walks, outings, or simply being outside together.

Reading is a big part of our daily life, we love books and sharing stories. While we don't travel frequently, we do enjoy visiting friends and family and staying connected to the people we care about.

We are looking for a dependable, nurturing nanny who can bring a sense of stability and consistency to our family, especially for our toddler during this time of transition. A caregiver who enjoys maintaining a predictable routine while being comfortable adapting when plans change will be a great fit. We value someone who is observant, responsive, and willing to get to know our child as their needs and personality continue to develop.

Someone who is knowledgeable on the developments and milestones, including baby-led weaning. Clear and open communication is very important to us, particularly during transitions and handoffs between Mom and the nanny. Above all, we are looking for someone who views childcare as a partnership and is comfortable working together and tag-teaming with us as needed.

The nanny will help maintain a consistent daily routine centered around structure, engagement, and flexibility. On a typical day, care will begin with the three-year-old already awake, followed by breakfast, a morning activity, and a mid-morning snack around 10:30 a.m. The day will continue with playtime, lunch, and a nap beginning around 1:00 p.m., with the child typically waking between 3:00-3:30 p.m. After an afternoon snack, the nanny will transition out of care as Mom finishes work around 4:00 p.m. On Wednesdays, the nanny will help get the oldest child ready and complete school drop-off at 8:30 a.m., with some flexibility around the schedule.

Strong communication and collaboration will be important in keeping the children's routines running smoothly and creating a supportive, consistent environment for the family.

Starting Mid-October, Tuesdays to Thursdays from 7 am to 7pm. Commitment of at least a year.

All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
