What you’ll do as a Superintendent:

• Coordinate & supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
• Manage and lead a team of subcontractors, ensuring efficient collaboration and effective communication among all parties involved
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met and client satisfaction is achieved.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily progress reports, material logs and safety records
• Oversee the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, providing guidance, support and mentoring to the construction team
• Organize construction activities and ensure the completion of assigned tasks are completed by the site workforce and subcontractors.
• Responsible and accountable for ensuring the work performed is in accordance with the most recent project plans and specifications.
• Ensure the site and all activities adhere to all safety regulations, rules and safety manual.
• Responsible and accountable for site reporting requirements on Procore – safety documentation, equipment tracking, look-a-heads, daily log, etc.
• Construction foreman / site superintendent reporting to the project manager, you will manage the site’s subcontractors, monitor the work schedule and execution, read plans, follow up and coordinate with suppliers.
• Manage/Coordinate the delivery to site of all materials and equipment in a timely manner and as required by the project schedule.
• Understand the scope of work and ensure it is well communicated to all trades.
• Report and keep current all daily log activities on site in Procore.
• Check and prepare material orders and items related to the work they supervise.
• Maintain site files on supplies, equipment, and services.
• Supervise inspections performed by field engineers, AHJ, subcontractors, and any external participant.
• Identify and eliminate risks and identify and document the hazards.

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role, demonstrating successful project management and leadership skills.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on quality control and safety.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaborative relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
