Plans, creates, and produces moderate to complex exhibit designs in the form of 3D renderings using computer graphics software packages or other mediums. Communicates artistic themes in booth designs. Performs exhibit design and consultation work of moderate to significant difficulty and complexity. May be involved in designing and/or providing assets for marketing materials for corporate stores
Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Consults with clients on communications needs.
- Designs and produces exhibit images using computer-based and traditional design methods to meet client standards and deadlines.
- Coordinates with related agencies on image needs.
- Works under limited supervision with extensive latitude to make decisions independently.
- Presents designs to client for approval.
- Archives electronic production files.
- Able to provide work direction and guidance to less experienced designer
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Skilled in the operation of graphics design workstations and equipment and in the use of various graphics and 3d design software packages.
- Skilled in designing 3-dimensional environments.
- Ability to design and produce graphics materials.
- Organizational skills: ability to plan, organize and monitor activities.
- Verbal communication skills:
Ability to get the intended message across. Ability to listen effectively. - Problem-solving/troubleshooting:
Ability to identify problems, recognize symptoms, causes and alternative solutions. Ability to make timely decisions.
Ability to work independently:
Ability to manage his/her own work without constant supervision.
- 4-year degree in design or industrial design or equivalent experience.
- 5 years experience with 3D software for modeling, texturing and rendering exhibits.
- 5 year experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Proficient with graphic production methods.
- Position is sedentary in nature.
