NECC Coordinator; Director; Position

General Requirements for a Director:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be a graduate of a high school or hold an equivalent diploma attained through successful completion of the commissioner of education-selected high school equivalency test
• Have at least 1,040 hours paid or unpaid staff supervision experience
• Have at least nine quarter credits or 90 hours earned in any combination of accredited courses in staff supervision, human relations and child development

• Accountable to Superintendent
• Supervise and manage staff and center
• Develop and attend yearly week long trainings
• Work as part of NECC Team
• Sub when staff is unavailable
• Coordinate training for staff
• Post, hire, evaluate and schedule NECC staff
• Timesheets
• Monitor Grants

• Communicate positively and effectively with NECC families at all times
• Maintain and lead a positive learning environment and daily educational experience for the children

• Starting wage: $20.00/hr. may increase with proven experience
• PTO: 15 days annually
• Vacation:
  Holidays and Paid vacations determined by contract
