Ironwood Electronics is an internationally recognized leader in semiconductor test components. This role is to manage a new but growing captive etching and plating facility used to produce precision test contacts for testing semiconductor devices. The position offers autonomy and flexibility, allowing the engineer/technician to wear many hats—from PCB layout through manufacturing and new product development—while interfacing with design engineers, sales, and customer service.

• Manage a new etching and plating facility for producing precision test contacts.
• Oversee PCB layout, manufacturing processes, and new product development.
• Support laser cutting, lamination, drilling, and chemical bath maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with industrial waste and hazardous material handling regulations.
• Maintain equipment, CAD/CAM tooling, and support design requirements.
• Coordinate with MRP/ERP systems and facilitate production planning.
• Serve as a self‑starter with a sense of urgency and strong multitasking ability.

• Experience in chemical analysis related to PCB manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tooling (Front End).
• Background in waste treatment oversight and industrial waste compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with lamination, laser cutting, drilling, and chemical bath maintenance.
• Knowledge of equipment support and design support processes.
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Multi‑tasking, deadline‑driven, self‑starter with attention to detail.
• Proven team player with internal and external customer focus.
• Familiarity with international shipping requirements is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
