Job Summary
Responsible for electrical design for industrial high‑tech projects such as automotive assembly plants, mission‑critical data centers, battery plants, and process controls. Requires high accuracy and attention to detail.
Role & Responsibilities- Process customer’s engineered schematic and cabling riser drawings to create raceway layout drawings, cable pull schedules, and termination schedules used in field installation.
- Collaborate with the Advanced Construction Planning (ACP) group to use customer’s engineered drawings and Hunt installation drawings to produce fabrication drawings for the prefab shop and field.
- Coordinate with Hunt field management and the ACP group to ensure timely and accurate field layout and prefab drawings.
- Create electrical construction drawings in Revit and Bluebeam for multiple projects under the direction of the Industrial Design Manager, Project Managers, and General Foremen.
- Generate installation drawings from the 3D/BIM models and coordinate finished products with external customers and industry professionals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two‑year degree in electrical construction or electrical design for construction.
- Excellent planning, organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new ideas and concepts.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 5+ years of related industrial electrical design/modeling experience.
- Experience with Navisworks or Easy Power.
- Experience working with Revit and Bluebeam.
- 3D/BIM modeling experience using Revit.
This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. The employee is required to sit, and occasionally kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl. The role may involve lifting files, opening file cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary, occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds.
Pay RangeUS $66,560.00 – $92,160.00 annual salary, determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
