• Leading technical design effort by working with cross functional teams to progress projects through a new product development and commercialization process to take concepts through to launch.
• Helping to determine wound healing related user needs and leveraging expertise to develop and advance technologies that can solve for our customers.
• Contributing to the project schedule for design and technical aspects of the project and providing input as a member of the technical team.
• Protect Solventum intellectual property through the filing of new patent applications, publish in top-tier journals, and present at appropriate conferences.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 7 years of experience in product development in a regulated environment in a private, public, government or military setting.
• OR High School Diploma/GED AND 11 years of experience in product development in a regulated design environment in a private, public, government or military environment.
• In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
  Medical device design and development experience. Experience of prototyping using medical related materials. Experience in maintaining complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment. Success in dealing effectively with all employees and external business contacts, to build networks and convey a positive, service-oriented attitude. Prior technical presentation experience.

• Master's degree or higher degree in a materials or scientific discipline from an accredited institution.
