Responsibilities- Lead monthly accounting activities, ensuring timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts for month‑end close.
- Prepare, analyze, and review complex general ledger account reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies within the general ledger, providing insightful responses to inquiries.
- Analyze financial results to identify variances and trends, supporting critical estimates such as accruals and reserves.
- Develop and publish custom reports, utilizing data visualization software to enhance financial analysis.
- Drive ad hoc projects and reporting to support strategic finance department objectives.
- Design and maintain sophisticated financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Evaluate financial performance against annual plans and forecasts, providing strategic insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize financial operations.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives, contributing to organizational growth.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new software solutions with existing systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally in a dynamic organization with a focus on strategic financial planning and project budgeting.
- Expertise in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in import/export functions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of implementing innovative solutions.
- Experience in leading software system implementations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment. Frequently required to sit, with occasional need to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. May occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
Pay Range$76,800.00 – $
