Radiologic Technologist - Twin Orthopedics

Overview

The Radiologic Technologist will perform quality x-rays per physician’s orders while providing excellent service to patients. This is a part-time float position (0.75 FTE) working every other weekend in Burnsville, every Monday in Edina, and floating between Eden Prairie, Edina, Eagan, and Burnsville for the remainder of the FTE based on PTO coverage needs. Must be willing to work at listed locations as needed.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices owned and led by physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

• Perform and develop quality x-rays on designated portions of the body for physician’s use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury
• Inform and prepare patients for procedures
• Maintain radiology files, including internal and external films
• Prepare, clean, and stock the work area with supplies
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
• Maintain the necessary precautions for radiation exposure
• May supply patients with requested x-rays
• Assist provider teams in obtaining imaging from other medical facilities for clinics and surgeries as needed
• All other duties as assigned

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT Certification in radiology required within 60 days of employment
• Previous radiology experience preferred

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
• A $4,500 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

• Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
• Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently push/pull patients up to 50 pounds, or patients in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
