Position: Occupational Therapy Coordinator - Twin Cities Orthopedics

Occupational Therapy Coordinator

The Occupational Therapy (OT) Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between therapists, physician care teams, and clinic staff to ensure efficient patient care and exceptional service. This role combines administrative support, scheduling, patient communication, and operational coordination for the Occupational Therapy department. The OT Coordinator assists with patient care processes, patient scheduling, supply ordering, and departmental projects to support growth and quality outcomes.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

This is a full-time position working Monday‑Friday between 7:00am‑5:00pm out of our Burnsville, Eagan, and Edina locations.

Essential Job Functions
  • Schedule and manage patient therapy appointments accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update therapist schedules to ensure clinics are properly staffed.
  • Communicate promptly with patients, families, and providers about appointments and care details.
  • Verify insurance information and obtain referrals and authorizations as needed.
  • Coordinate and organize patient records and related documentation.
  • Monitor and manage departmental worklists to ensure timely follow‑up on tasks.
  • Assist in the quarterly inventory process.
  • Order and maintain therapy supplies and equipment function for therapy clinic readiness.
  • Assist with onboarding/educating new staff and supporting clinic openings.
  • Travel between clinics as needed to provide operational support.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma/GED required;
    Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 1‑2 years of customer service experience required; administrative or medical office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with health plan requirements and networks.

  • Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
