Job Description
Position Summary:
The Level 1 EIDBI Provider delivers direct, one-on‑one, skills–based interventions to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related conditions. Under the supervision of a Qualified Supervising Professional, the Level 1 Provider follows individualized treatment plans to help clients build functional skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment goals as directed by the clinical team
- Use positive behavior supports and reinforcement techniques
- Collect accurate data on client progress during sessions
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation (session notes, timesheets)
- Collaborate with supervisors and family members to support the generalization of skills
- Participate in required training and supervision sessions
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of the client during service delivery
- Follow agency and EIDBI program policies and procedures
- write ITP
- Do OND.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 2,000 hours of supervised experience working with children with ASD or related conditions, OR
- Completion of a 40-hour training in EIDBI‑approved topics (ABA, ASD, developmental disabilities)
- Must pass a DHS background study
- Strong communication skills and a positive, patient attitude
- Ability to work independently and follow treatment protocols
- Reliable transportation to service locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ABA, or educational/behavioral support roles
- Familiarity with EIDBI documentation and billing procedure.
Work Environment:
- Services are delivered in‑home, in‑center, school, or community settings
- Flexible scheduling based on client availability
