Medical Science Liaison – Dermatology

• Serve as a trusted scientific partner to external experts and decision-makers in dermatology and Dupilumab
• Conduct timely, appropriate, and frequent scientific exchanges with external stakeholders
• Execute stakeholder engagement plans and gather medical insights
• Maintain awareness of medical and scientific developments and assess research opportunities
• Communicate medical and scientific information to Key Opinion Leaders, payers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
• Establish long-term peer relationships with KOLs and stakeholder partners
• Engage stakeholders on disease, clinical, epidemiologic, healthcare policy, and scientific topics using approved materials
• Map, identify, profile, and prioritize stakeholders using defined systems
• Plan territory and individual stakeholder medical strategies and engagement plans
• Attend scientific congresses and symposia and establish Sanofi Medical presence
• Organize educational meetings and local scientific advisory boards when requested
• Support speaker training
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests
• Gather, record, evaluate, and share insights from stakeholder interactions and published studies
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Commercial Operations, Business Development, and Regulatory teams
• Support evidence-generation activities, data acquisition, protocol development, and data collection
• Monitor disease epidemiology, clinical trial activity, and investigator-sponsored study opportunities
• Manage a base of 50 stakeholders and maintain the stakeholder engagement tracking database
• Plan day-to-day interactions and execute the KOL territory strategy
• Develop territory engagement plans aligned with medical strategy and company objectives
• Use approved scientific data during KOL interactions

• Advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field (MD, PhD, PharmD, PA, NP, or equivalent clinical advanced degree)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a complete background check
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, clinical, or medical affairs industry
• MSL or field-based scientific engagement experience preferred
• Clear understanding of medical practice, clinical decision-making, and healthcare systems related to patient care
• Ability to interpret key scientific data and translate it to meet educational and research needs
• Demonstrated ability to address educational and research needs through cutting-edge scientific/evidence-based data
• Understanding of research study design and execution
• Exemplary communication and presentation skills
• Experience working on multidisciplinary teams and managing significant project volume
• Must reside within the Midwest territory
• Knowledge of local pharmaceutical regulations and codes of practice
• Knowledge of healthcare systems, medical landscape, regulatory and payer environments, public health, and industry trends
• Proficiency in digital tools
• Working knowledge of English as a second language

Demonstrates expertise in stakeholder engagement and scientific communication within the dermatology and pharmaceutical sectors, leveraging advanced scientific knowledge to inform and educate key opinion leaders and healthcare providers. Proficient in developing and executing strategic engagement plans while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
