Hotel Assistant General Manager

As the Hotel Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the hotel's daily operations run seamlessly. With minimal supervision, you will exercise independent judgment to optimize operations while upholding our vision, mission, and values. This self-starter position requires 24-hour availability and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through effective team leadership and operational management.

• Train, mentor, and supervise staff across various departments to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and back-of-house areas to meet brand and safety standards.

• Walk and be present on property, especially during shift changes, to ensure daily priorities are communicated, equipping individuals and the team for success.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance, events, and room bookings to optimize guest satisfaction.

• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR one to three years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
