Repair & Maintenance - Painter

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is part of the 200‑acre Viking Lakes mixed‑use development and serves as the headquarters for the Minnesota Vikings, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center and TCO Stadium. The 320‑room luxury hotel features 35,000+ square feet of meeting and event space, a 7,500‑sq‑ft ballroom, a 4,410‑sq‑ft event center and six hospitality lounges. It offers multiple food and beverage venues, a signature spa and fitness facilities.

Painter – full time, responsible for painting, plastering and wallpapering public areas to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming hotel environment.

• Pay: $24.00/hr base rate (salary based on experience).

• Maintain and paint, wallpaper, plaster public areas and guest rooms continually.
• Keep the hotel décor in good condition.
• Clean work areas after each job.
• Fill out daily work form.
• Understand Omni’s fire‑alarm procedures and other emergency protocols.
• Understand Omni hotel rules and regulations.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial painting experience.
• Flexible availability including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to work in interior and exterior hotel areas with paint, plaster, and other materials.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull moderate to heavy weight without assistance; stand or walk for extended periods.
• Respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain, identify and respond to dangerous situations, safely climb ladders while carrying moderate‑heavy weight, wear personal protective equipment when required.

• Interior of the hotel and all property areas; exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Exterior access; exposure to weather.
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals.

• Office supplies and equipment.
