Rooms Housekeeping - Room Attendant

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is a 320‑room luxury hotel located on a 200‑acre mixed‑use development that includes the Minnesota Vikings headquarters and the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center. The hotel features more than 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including a 7,500‑square‑foot ballroom, a 4,410‑square‑foot event center, and six two‑story hospitality lounges.

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Guest Room Attendant. This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in each guest room by refreshing rooms for continuing guests and thoroughly cleaning rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest.

Salary starts at $19.00 per hour based on experience. • Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting
• Restock and replace used items within guest rooms
• Communicate clean status of each room upon completion
• Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms
• Stock supply cart and keep it neat and organized
• Check all equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working order
• Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time
• Willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in housekeeping is strongly preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively

• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance

• Interior of hotel, dining room, and restaurant kitchen, with occasional travel around resort property as needed
• Exposure to various hazardous chemicals
