We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing organization. This role plays a key part in delivering full-cycle HR services, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, HRIS management, and multistate employment compliance. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and committed to creating a positive employee experience.

• Serve as first point of contact for employee enquiries
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
• Support onboarding activities, orientation, and new hire setup
• Support payroll processing by preparing, reviewing, and validating employee data changes (new hires, terminations, compensation adjustments).
• Maintain accurate employee records and uphold data integrity across HR systems.
• Support administration of benefits
• Maintain and optimize the HRIS for accuracy, workflow efficiency, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with vendors on enhancements.
• Generate HR metrics and analytics to support business decisions.
• Assist in ensuring compliance of employment laws in Canada and the US.
• Monitor changes to legislation in multiple states and recommend updates to policies and practices.
• Maintain HR documentation and internal procedures
• Ad hoc items as required

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of HR generalist experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws.
• Payroll experience an asset
• Experience with HRIS platforms
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with a high degree of accuracy.
