Job Description Summary

As we continue to grow, we’re excited to add a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to our team. In this role, you will support the Talent Acquisition Manager in driving recruitment for high‑impact and hard‑to‑fill positions and contribute to strategic hiring initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Strategic Recruitment Planning:
    Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition:
    Lead end-to-end recruitment for hard-to-fill and high-impact roles across the organization, providing a high-touch approach and strong relationship management with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Technology Utilization:
    Leverage modern recruiting tools and technologies, including AI and applicant tracking systems, to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and provide first-line support for troubleshooting.
  • Candidate

    Experience:

    Ensure a positive candidate experience with clear communication, timely updates, and strong brand representation.
  • Talent Sourcing Initiatives:
    Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, talent agencies, industry networks, participate in career fairs, and develop proactive talent pipelines.
  • Data-Driven Improvements:
    Use data and analytics to assess recruitment metrics, identify improvement areas, and drive process enhancements.
  • Collaboration and Partnership:
    Work closely with HR Managers, Talent Acquisition team, and Hiring Managers to align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
  • Leadership Partnership:
    Communicate regularly with company leadership and cross‑functional leaders to provide updates on recruitment progress and challenges.
  • Project Management:
    Balance multiple recruitment projects, maintain high candidate experience standards, meet delivery timelines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Recruitment Marketing:
    Support employer branding initiatives across Linked In, industry events, employee storytelling, and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of full-cycle recruitment and talent sourcing experience, emphasizing specialist roles that require specific backgrounds and technical expertise.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction talent acquisition preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel; ability to quickly learn new technology, including applicant tracking and onboarding systems.
  • Understanding of state and federal employment laws, regulations, and best practices (AAP, EEO, etc.).
  • Workday experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Professional office environment; routinely use standard office equipment. May sit for long periods, occasionally kneel, reach, stoop, crouch, or crawl. Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
