Overview

Genesis
10 is seeking a Technical Writer for a cloud transformation program. This is a remote, six-month contract requiring consultants to align core business hours with 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Central Time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Translate spoken and conceptual requirements into clear, detailed documentation.
• Develop technical documents, manuals, and process guides to support cloud transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
• Maintain version control and ensure all documentation aligns with organizational standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical writing experience with a focus on IT or cloud-based projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.

Preferred Qualities

• Technically savvy, with the ability to quickly grasp new tools and concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interviewing and collaboration.
• Eager to learn and contribute to the success of the program.

Compensation

Hourly W2 pay: $40.00 to $48.00/hour. We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
