Position Overview: As a Centralized Operations Manager, you will strengthen operational consistency across our network of branches and regions. This role is designed as a peer to Regional Managers, with a focus on centralized oversight of logistics, dispatch, fleet, and facility operations. Based at our Eagan headquarters, you will ensure daily execution, compliance, and performance standards are met at our Eagan location.
This is a hands-on role that combines operational leadership with practical problem-solving. You will oversee centralized operations teams, conduct audits, and drive accountability through metrics and scorecards – while coaching and developing staff to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Multi-Site / Building Management
- Oversee leases, maintenance, and compliance for 20 NRS-owned facilities across the Midwest in cooperation with our compliance officer.
- Conduct operational audits to ensure compliance, consistency, and excellence across branches.
- Fleet Management
- Maintain accurate records in Fleetio, Samsara, and other fleet management systems.
- Provide organizational support in managing fleet logistics.
- Logistics / Dispatch Oversight
- Lead centralized dispatch operations with a focus on accountability and measurable performance.
- Develop and monitor daily routing plans, scorecards, and overtime controls.
- Conduct morning check-ins and evening release processes to ensure operational discipline.
- Training & Development
- Coach, train, and develop field service teams to improve execution and consistency.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across regions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics leadership, preferably within a wholesale, distribution, or healthcare-related environment.
- Experience in medical device, durable medical equipment (DME), or hospital supply chain operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing, routing, and fulfillment operations.
- Hands-on experience with MRP or ERP systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams and regions to achieve common goals.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
