Commercially driven aviation leader to direct turboprop aircraft and component sales and acquisition strategy across North and South America. This role carries full accountability for regional turboprop revenue performance, asset optimization, and market expansion within the turboprop sector.
The ideal candidate brings deep aviation market intelligence, strong asset valuation expertise, and a proven ability to structure high-value transactions involving aircraft and large inventory portfolios. This leader will play a critical role in shaping growth strategy, strengthening market position, and maximizing return on inventory investment.
Strategic Leadership Responsibilities Revenue & Market Expansion- Own regional P&L and budgetary performance for turboprop material sales and acquisitions.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to increase revenue, margin, and market share.
- Identify emerging market trends and position the organization to capitalize on supply-demand imbalances and asset arbitrage opportunities.
- Expand footprint across North and South America through strategic account penetration and new market development.
- Lead evaluation, negotiation, and execution of high-value asset acquisitions, including whole aircraft and bulk inventory packages.
- Drive inventory strategy across rotatable and expendable components to optimize turns, liquidity, and capital deployment.
- Partner with purchasing, operations, and finance to align inventory investment with forecasted demand and margin targets.
- Provide executive-level recommendations on asset risk, valuation, and return on investment.
- Cultivate executive-level relationships with operators, MROs, lessors, and asset owners.
- Position the organization as a preferred partner in complex transactions and long-term supply agreements.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade events, and strategic customer meetings (up to 25% travel).
- Provide leadership oversight to Regional Sales Support (shared resource).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, technical teams, and executive leadership to align commercial objectives with operational capabilities.
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning, forecasting, and capital allocation discussions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of progressive aviation sales experience, with demonstrated success in asset-driven environments
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- College degree in Aviation, Business, or related field
- Experience with Quantum ERP (Component Control)
- Technical knowledge of IPCs and regulatory documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while influencing cross-functional stakeholders
Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based with regular engagement at trade shows, customer facilities, airfields, and hangars
- Sedentary work with occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs.)
- Frequent computer use and detailed data analysis requiring close visual acuity
