Ice Resurfacer Driver - Part-Time

Responsible to assist arena personnel in maintaining the facility and operations of the Arena; provide a safe, clean, and friendly environment for guests and patrons.

Direct work of others in the absence of onsite Arena Manager.

Operation of ice resurface rs as well as enforcing policies and providing direction in case of emergency.

Opening and closing arena.

• General building maintenance, building cleanliness, ice resurfacer operations, game operations, ice maintenance.
• Supervises and monitors activities at the arenas, including but not limited to; open skating; hockey leagues, skating lessons; and other activities held at the arena(s).
• Monitors activities throughout the facility to ensure smooth operation.
• Provides assistance as necessary to participants and spectators at the arena.
• Supervise and provide work direction to seasonal staff if needed.
• Schedules, as necessary, events to be held at the arena(s).
• Monitor and assist as needed with keeping the exterior of building clean.
• Skate sharpening when needed.
• Performs such other duties as are consistent with the tasks of the position and as may be assigned by the City

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, sit, crouch, twist, push, pull, bend, stoop, squat and lift.
• Self-motivated
• Reliable and customer focused
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, days and evenings.
• Previous driving and/or arena experience desired.
• Supervisory experience preferred

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 4:00 p.m.

- Midnight at the latest and weekends 5:30 a.m.

- Midnight at the latest. End time every night will depend on our rentals.

Employment offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.

Rate of pay depending on qualifications.
