The Vice President of Operations serves as the senior leader of a rapidly growing Electrical Division with full P&L responsibility. This executive is accountable for divisional performance, growth, project execution, client satisfaction, financial results, and leadership development.
Success in this role requires balancing strategic growth with operational excellence, aligning cross-functional teams, developing future leaders, and building scalable systems that support sustainable expansion. The VP will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service while delivering safe, profitable, and high-quality electrical construction and service solutions.
Salary Range: Total comp may exceed $400K

- Own divisional P&L performance, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, productivity, and overall business results.
- Develop and execute growth strategies that drive market expansion, client retention, and operational scalability.
- Partner with executive leadership to align business objectives, resource allocation, and long-term strategic priorities.
- Lead and align Business Development, Estimating, Preconstruction, Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Service, and Prefabrication functions.
- Ensure projects are properly selected, planned, executed, and financially managed.
- Improve operational consistency, project controls, cross-functional collaboration, and execution discipline across the division.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
- Provide oversight of project performance, including margin management, forecasting, schedule execution, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure strong governance, visibility, and accountability across all projects.
- Build trusted client relationships that drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Build and develop a high-performing leadership team capable of supporting continued growth.
- Establish clear expectations, accountability, and career development opportunities throughout the organization.
- Strengthen the culture of ownership, teamwork, safety, quality, and customer focus.
- Advance prefabrication and other scalable delivery strategies that improve productivity, safety, schedule reliability, and financial performance.
- Identify and eliminate organizational barriers, process inefficiencies, and recurring operational challenges.
- Implement sustainable improvements that strengthen long-term business performance.
