Working Hours
1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
2nd Shift – 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
3rd Shift – 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Mandatory bi‑weekly Saturday overtime is part of the standard schedule.
PayUS $20.50 per hour, plus a $2 shift differential for the 3rd shift.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions- Pick up daily production schedule and review for accuracy.
- Communicate to the mixer and utility person the plan for each product running.
- Turn on equipment and verify it is running properly. Notify the appropriate supporting department if any issues are noted.
- Replace mesh and Teflon belts properly and safely.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper size and weights.
- Verify recipes, seasoning, weights, size, and Accu View settings are in accordance with ERP (Plex) requirements for all changeovers and product runs.
- Assist in the regrind process.
- Monitor quality standards and notify Quality Control of any product problems.
- Fill out all production paperwork accurately and maintain ERP requirements.
- Record waste using correct settings and troubleshoot if not correct.
- Communicate issues that prevent maximum performance of the line to Lead and/or Supervisor.
- Ensure all equipment is taken apart and needed parts are cleaned for deep‑clean changeovers; contact Quality Control for final approval.
- Assist the sanitation department with equipment cleaning and ensure parts are properly re‑installed.
- Work with the maintenance team to resolve equipment issues.
- Cover breaks for mixer online as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the mixer, utility person, and management.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Communicate with team members from other shifts to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Actively participate in Food Safety and Food Defense related activities.
- Perform additional duties as directed.
- High‑school graduate or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience operating production machinery, including equipment set‑ups, start‑ups, and adjustments to meet product specifications.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Basic English language skills, written and verbal.
- Ability and willingness to always follow GMPs.
- Safely operate industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Ability to make decisions regarding equipment operation.
- Comfortable working in a warm environment (up to 110 °F during summer months).
- Ability to lift 30–55 lbs continuously.
- Hands‑on individual.
